We are pleased to offer our rooms for use by the local community for one-off and regular bookings. The cost of hire is £12 per hour for the large rooms and £8.50 for the smaller rooms. This charge covers gas, electricity, caretaking, and the use of equipment, including tables, chairs, and kitchen facilities.
If you are interested in using any of our spaces, please contact our Senior Steward, Jeremy, (01865 779070) for more information.
Our largest room is the downstairs room which is our church, and where we gather for worship. We have a wooden screen that can be pulled across the middle of the room to close off the communion table, organ and pulpit. This area can seat 60; it is adjacent to our kitchen, which has a large serving hatch, cutlery, crockery, a cooker, microwave, kettle, and tea urn.
All of our ground floor has disabled access.
Downstairs, at the back, is our second room. It is suitable for a small meeting room and can sit 20 people comfortably.
Upstairs, we have a smaller room, which can also be divided in two using a screen similar to that found in our main space. This room has a small kitchen en-suite, and can sit up to 30 people comfortably. Access to this space is via a flight of stairs.
We have disabled toilet facilities and a place for baby changing. We also have a car park large enough for 30 cars.
Our large room is ideal for children’s parties, but we are not licensed for public singing and dancing.
NO ALCOHOL is allowed on the premises, and SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED inside the building.
Over the years, a number of groups have hired our rooms for long term lets, including a Bridge Club, Slimming Club, Theatre Company, Dance Group, Youth Club and Drama Group. The Oxford Philatelic Society, The British Cactus and Succulent Society, The United Methodist Church and The Cowley Chess Club are active users of our rooms.
