Community Cupboard

Good Food is Good News

Rose Hill Community Cupboard is open on Wednesdays from 1.15 – 3.30 pm, at Rose Hill Methodist Church, Rose Hill.

Anyone can pop in and have something to eat, share in conversation and get information about local services and groups that run in the area.

There is also food available to take away for those who need it, based on a referral system that any of our volunteers on duty will be able to explain. In order to take both non perishable food (tins, packets etc) and fresh food you must have a referral card, by getting in touch with one of our referring agencies. However, if you are unable to qualify for a referral you are welcome to any surplus fresh food from 3pm.

For a list of organisations that can issue referral cards, see here. Some of the food that is available to take away comes from Oxford Food Hub and Tescos at Oxford Retail Park. We also supplement with both donated food and food that is specially purchased.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Community Cupboard is run in partnership between Rose Hill Methodist Church and St. Mary the Virgin Iffley. If you would like to make a donation to running Community Cupboard, you can do so via the Dona secure online site here:

If your donation is eligible for Gift Aid, you can complete an online Gift Aid Declaration here.
