Our congregation includes people who come from many different backgrounds. Across the full range of our activities, our central purpose is to help everyone to learn to know God better through Jesus Christ. We do this by helping each other in our daily lives, supporting each other through good experiences and bad, and providing a space where all feel safe to share God’s love.

We’re affectionately known as the “Church on The Hill” and there has been a Methodist Church on Rose Hill since 1835. Society has changed since then but the message of God’s love for the world is as relevant as ever and that’s why the congregation gathers for worship each week and seeks to serve the local community in a range of ways.

As a church, we’re a community and a family, and we want everyone to feel at home here. Come in and say ‘hello’ next time you’re passing and find out more about us! We have a number of people who you may see out and about more often than others. To find out who we are, click Our People.

“Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord”.

Romans 8:39
