After so many months of not being able to gather in our Church for worship, I am pleased to say that we will be re-opening on Sunday September 6th, when our morning service will be at 10.30 a.m..
We know that worship will be different during the coming months. For example, we are not permitted to sing, which is usually such an important part of Methodist worship. Our seating will be arranged so that people can be at a distance from one another, when normally we enjoy being together. And face coverings will need to be worn by the congregation.
However, we are still delighted that worship will return to Rose Hill Methodist Church, and our main concern in all of this is that people should be safe when they come along. So if you would like to join as a returning member of the Church family, or for the first time, you will be very welcome – even though a smile will be hidden!
We know that these continue to be times when we have to be very careful, and so we wouldn’t want anyone to come along who was not confident to do so, or was in any way unwell. Gradually we hope and pray that life will become more normal, but we know that we aren’t there yet.
However these past months have been for you, we wish you well.
God bless, Stephen
